With all the hate and violence in the world, I wanted to create something that was uplifting.
Buried within the word hibiscus is ibis.
The ibis was considered an Egyptian deity - associated with knowledge and writing.
The world could sure use some of that knowledge to help make life more peaceful for everyone.
