Organic Forms #18 - Elegance

I started to experiment with a beautiful background.

Initially it was supposed to be soft, feminine colors.

But my mind took, over and it became gold with deep red and many textures.

I then thought why not immerse a beautiful woman, let the background become all encompassing.

This experiment led me to a great success, as the past year I’ve been reading/studying John Singer Sargeant.

His work has great craftsmanship. The most amazing part is the beautiful workmanship on their clothes.

Almost at the same time, Gustav Klimt also emphasized the clothing in his magnificent portraits.

Combining their ideas, I wanted to create my own style using the power of vector graphics painting.

I immersed and blended the subject into the abstracted background.

To some degree this was done with Organic Forms #16, and here more so.

A monoprint was made with pigment ink combined on Red River Paper’s Palo Duro 315.

It will last for over 100 years with UV protection.

Price includes a simple frame and Acrylic for UV protection and reduced glare.
