Curved Lines Abstract

24” wide x 36” height on paper made from 100% cotton fibers (Hahnemühle Photo Rag) - created with very high archival standards

Painted completely within a vector graphics program called Inkscape - September, 2023

The background concept for this piece came evolved from yoga pose Natarajasana.

However I shifted colors and focus for the background.

The main theme for the curved lines came from Two Lovers abstract.

Roped lines, similar to Brice Marden’s method, were enhanced.

In this piece, I wanted the lines to have more of an edge, and accentuated each line giving it more of a 3 dimensional feel.
